Eagleby Wetlands

After getting back to Queensland, Sonya and I rode to Eagleby Wetlands, close to where the Albert River meets the Logan. The mud is deep, the grass green, and there are plenty of birds. But the wetlands aren’t very wet – we could do with more rain.

Nudgee Beach

Nudgee Beach (north of Brisbane Airport), the half way point of our Saturday morning ride. Low tide is very low!

My Bike Has Arrived

My new touring bike (a Van Nicholas Yukon Rohloff) has just arrived from the Netherlands, and is undergoing a final setup. I’ll have it before Christmas!

The new bike is to celebrate 16,000 km in 2016, and 30,000 km since I started riding in 2014.
